At Hangar 9, we have two planes available to rent:

A Piper Cherokee 140/160 and an Aeronca Champ.

The Cherokee is our primary trainer and has standard instruments for VFR flight.
We are planning a GPS upgrade and IFR certification so we will soon be able to use this airplane for IFR training!

The Champ is a tailwheel and is reminiscent of simpler times in aviation. We offer tailwheel training if you’d like to challenge and improve your airmanship!
